When the Pittsburgh Steelers Remained in the Locker Room for the National Anthem, One Man Defied the Team

The outright and blatant disrespect for America, the American flag, and the men and women of various ethnicities who risked their lives and shed their blood in the name of this country was on full display by petulant, children millionaires of the NFL today.

There were a number of teams who outright refused to even come out of their locker rooms to pay respect to the country which gave them a platform to make them rich and famous. The first of those teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers, let the world know before kick off at 1 pm Eastern, that they would not even be on the field of the National Anthem.

Although head coach Mike Tomlin, who happens to be a black man, was on the sidelines with his hand over his heart, all of his players decided to remain in the locker room in disrespect to America. One man, however, defied the team’s ungrateful spirit for the opportunities America has afforded them.

That man was Left Tackle, Alejandro Villanueva.

Shhhh….they left doesn’t want you to realize that he’s of Hispanic origin. It would ruin their race-baiting narrative.

To put things into perspective, Villanueva is a former Army Ranger who served this country on three tours in Afghanistan. While his teammates were in the locker room protesting against America, a CBS shot of the team’s tunnel revealed Villanueva standing at the edge of the tunnel with his hand over his heart in respect of his country.

Amen, brother. Thank you for your service.

Check out Alejandro Villanueva defying his teammates and their ungrateful attitude by paying respect to America.

It should be noted that Villanueva was also decorated with a Bronze Star for valor. The Democrat Media Complex will not want you to notice his patriotism because he is of Hispanic descent. His ethnicity coupled with patriotism and love of country does not fit their anti-American, race-baiting, America-hating narrative.
