Trey Gowdy Asks Jeh Johnson the $64 Question He Refuses to Answer [VIDEO]

“Why would the victim of a crime not turn over a server to the intelligence community or to law enforcement?”

If the Democratic National Committee (DNC) was so concerned about supposed hacking into their computer server by the Russians, as is alleged, then why did they refuse to turn it over to the FBI during the Obama Regime, so that it could be properly investigated?

That is the $64 question Congressman Trey Gowdy asked former Obama Department of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson on Wednesday as he was testifying before the House Intelligence Committee about Russia’s much-ballyhooed attempt to influence the 2016 presidential election.

“Twice now you have said that you could have camped out in front of the DNC and I would say in defense of you, it wouldn’t have made any difference if you had, because they weren’t going to give you the server,” Gowdy opined. “So if you’re investigating either from the law enforcement or from an intelligence standpoint, the hacking by a foreign hostile government, wouldn’t you want the server?” he asked Johnson.

Gowdy noted that the alleged hack was known about during the summer of 2016, months before the November election:

“Wouldn’t that help you, number one, identify who the attacker was, and if memory serves me — this was early in the summer of 2016 when we learned of the DNC hack — so if they had turned the server over to either you or Director Comey, maybe we would have known more and maybe there would have been more for you to report. So I guess what I’m asking you is, why would the victim of a crime not turn over a server to the intelligence community or to law enforcement?”

Jeh Johnson refused to answer the question, getting a Cheshire cat-like grin on his face while claiming that the above is a “leading” question.

“I’m not going to argue with you, sir,” the evasive Johnson replied.

This is a major question that must be answered, a question that is pivotal to the Russian investigation, yet a question that no Democrat politician, or their comrades in the Democrat Media Complex (also known as “the media), seem the least bit interested in.

Why isn’t the DNC being pressed to turn over the hacked server, or at the least, explain why they were opposed to turning it over. Were they staging their own hacking? What are they hiding?
