Progressive leftist Democrats should probably stop embarrassing themselves by attacking the NRA for a mass murder that they had nothing to do with (as has always been the case).
This time, with the horrific Texas Church Massacre that occurred in the tiny Texas town of Sutherland, Texas on Sunday, what stopped the atheist madman who murdered 20 worshipping Christians — many of them children — was a good guy with a…gun.
But it wasn’t just any good guy. He just happened to be a former NRA instructor.
ABC News reported on the heroic act of bravery of former NRA instructor Stephen Willeford:
Former NRA instructor Stephen Willeford is being hailed a hero for chasing down the man accused of opening fire at a Sutherland Springs, Texas, church, killing 26.
Willeford, whose family has lived in the area for four generations, spoke out about his confrontation with the 26-year-old suspect, saying that after he heard the shots from the nearby First Baptist Church, he grabbed his rifle and ran to the building barefoot. When he saw the suspected shooter, dressed in black tactical gear, he didn’t hesitate and fired.
“He saw me and I saw him,” Willeford told ABC affiliate KHOG. “I was standing behind a pickup truck for cover.”
Willeford added: “I know I hit him. He got into his vehicle, and he fired another couple rounds through his side window. When the window dropped, I fired another round at him again.”
As the suspect pulled away in his car, Willeford stopped a pickup truck to ask for help, according to KHOG. “We need to stop him,” Willeford said he told the driver. They then proceeded to follow the suspect, calling 911 from the road.
As the Washington Free Beacon reported Monday morning, liberals of all stripes immediately and ignorantly blamed the NRA for the attack. Instead, they should be thanking God for the Second Amendment and the NRA.
Here are a few of the anti-Second Amendment rights leftist jerks who should utter humiliated, including MSNBC communist propagandist, Joy Reid:
The @NRA is soaked and bathed in blood. How do its adherents sleep at night?

I’ll just keep saying it: The NRA is a terrorist organization.

Thanks, @NRA, for helping us focus on the real issues here, literally minutes after more Americans are massacred. https://t.co/umCqUFouKA

THIS HORRIFIC, PREVENTABLE TRAGEDY IS POLITICAL. I won't wait to talk about how lawmakers allow the @NRA to endanger us.

They should be ashamed of themselves but as we’ve learned about the Left, they are more concerned about scoring cheap political points and taking away Second Amendment rights than they are those families whose lives have been altered forever.
