Texas senator and former presidential candidate [score]Ted Cruz[/score], a constitutional conservative, brutally educated a snobbish Harvard professor desperately trying to revise the history of America’s founding.
The leftist professor, Joy E. Chaplin, a “Professor of Early American History,” was trying to make a point about the U.S. withdrawal from the Paris Climate Scam, that somehow the United States was “created by [the] international community in [the] Treaty of Paris in 1783,” and that it “betrays” the same international community — an imaginary phrase globalists use to describe something that doesn’t exist — by withdrawing from the globalist redistribution of U.S. wealth scheme.
The USA, created by int'l community in Treaty of Paris in 1783, betrays int'l community by withdrawing from #parisclimateagreement today

On Friday morning, Cruz saw the tweet and re-educated Professor Chaplin’s ridiculous assertion:
Lefty academics @ my alma mater think USA was "created by int'l community." No–USA created by force, the blood of patriots & We the People. https://t.co/zOxVdj21en

She probably doesn’t feel this way about Israel, I’m guessing, but Chaplin responded with more silliness, leaving another opening for Cruz to show his far superior intellect:
Sad. US Senator, Harvard Law degree. Doesn't know that national statehood requires international recognition. https://t.co/gcxtJifWCl

Ted Cruz expressed his own “sadness,” tweeting back that it was sad that a tenured professor at Harvard has no idea how the United States was created, noting in one tweet that the Declaration of Independence, the Revolutionary War, followed by the U.S. Constitution created the country.
In his final tweet, which shut the professor up good, Cruz said that the “Treaty of Paris simply memorialized that fact, of our total victory at Yorktown” and that her claim “is like saying a plastic globe created the earth.”
Just sad. Tenured chair at Harvard, doesn't seem to know how USA was created. Not a treaty. Declaration+Revolutionary War+Constitution=USA. https://t.co/tQALvjdkTs

And to that, progressive leftist professor Joyce E. Chaplin tapped out.
