Establishment RINO [score]Mitch McConnell[/score] is in the crosshairs of recently departed and former Trump chief strategist Steve Bannon, who has returned to his position as chairman of nationalist-populist Breitbart News.
“Mitch McConnell, I’m going to light him up,” Bannon told The Economist in an interview that was published Friday. “In the White House, I had influence. At Breitbart, I had power,” he declared.
Bannon also announced future attacks against “the elites in Silicon Valley and Wall Street — they’re a bunch of globalists who have forgotten their fellow Americans.”

However, Steve Bannon said that Breitbart will “never” turn on Trump but will try to push him in the direction of sticking to his populist-nationalist agenda that helped get him elected.
“We will never turn on him,” Bannon revealed. “But we are never going to let him take a decision that hurts him.”

“I am an ideologue, that’s why I am out,” Bannon said about his departure from the White House. “I can rally the base, have his back. The harder he pushes, the more we will be there for him,” he said about President Trump.
