Senator Rand Paul ASSAULTED by Registered Democrat in his Kentucky Home

A registered Democrat blindsided Kentucky Republican Senator Rand Paul, assaulting him in his Bowling Green home on Friday afternoon. The man, identified as 59-year-old Rene Albert Boucher has been charged with one count of fourth-degree assault. The Bowling Green Daily News reports that Boucher is being held in the Warren County Regional Jail in lieu of $5,000 bond. Senator Paul suffered minor injuries in the attack.

The Kentucky State Police were called out to Paul’s home at 3:21 pm on Friday afternoon after the attack was called in. Although there are still details of the attack that are unknown, Rand Paul’s communications director in Kentucky, Kelsey Cooper, released a statement to the Bowling Green Daily News saying,  “Senator Paul was blindsided and the victim of an assault. The assailant was arrested and it is now a matter for the police. Senator Paul is fine.”

The Daily Caller confirmed via the Kentucky State Board of Elections website that Boucher is indeed a registered Democrat. In addition, WDAM reports that Boucher had politically-charged anti-Trump posts on his Facebook page. While they found no posts against Rand Paul, the senator has been very vocal of many of President Trump’s policies.

The Bowling Green Daily News confirmed that Boucher is an anesthesiologist and pain specialist in the area. His address is listed by the Warren County property valuation administrator’s website as being on Riverwood Lane, a gated community east of where Rand Paul lives.

A court date has not yet been set.

As of this writing, Rand Paul is trending on Twitter. As is typical, there are many leftists who are mocking or celebrating the attack. Here are some of the more disgusting comments.

This woman wants to reward the attacker. She thinks she’s so funny based on the emojis crying tears of laughter and the handclaps.

This tweet in response to the vile, viciousness of the left about sums things up.
