Sarah Huckabee Sanders Annihilates CNN’s April Ryan for Suggesting Trump Admin is Pro-Slavery [VIDEO]

CNN's April Ryan, Sarah Huckabee Sanders

“Disgusting and “Absurd”

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders blasted race-obsessed CNN “reporter” April Ryan during the White House press briefing on Wednesday for suggesting that somehow the Trump administration supports the return of slavery.

Ryan has been livid following recent comments from 4-star General John Kelly who said what many historians have said — that because the North and the South couldn’t come to some sort of “compromise” on slavery led to the Civil War in which over 600,000 lives were lost — a historic fact.

Kelly in no way made any inferred that he — or anyone else in the Trump administration — was pro-slavery, a ridiculous contention by April Ryan and Huckabee Sanders called her out for trying to spread the “disgusting and absurd” narrative.

APRIL RYAN: “The issue of compromise. What is the definition of compromise as it relates to slavery and the Civil War?”

SARAH HUCKABEE SANDERS: “Look, I’m not going to get in and relitigate the Civil War, just like I told you yesterday. I’ve addressed the concerns that a lot of people had and the questions that you had. I’m not going to relitigate history here.”

RYAN: “So I’m going ask the question again.”

SANDERS: “Why don’t you ask it in a way that you’re apparently accusing me of being.”

RYAN:  “I’m not accusing. I’m asking a question, Sarah, seriously. The question is, does this administration believe, does the president believe slavery was wrong? And before you answer, Mary Francis Berry said in 1860 there was a compromise. The compromise was for Southern states to keep slavery but the Confederacy fired Fort Sumter that caused the Civil War.  And because of the Civil War, what happened? The North won.”

SANDERS: “I think it’s disgusting and absurd to suggest that anyone inside of this building would support slavery.”
