Leftist anti-Second Amendment rights lesbian and comedian Rosie O’Donnell has long been in a feud with President Donald Trump. During the 2016 Republican Primary, then-candidate Trump’s “pig” characterization of O’Donnell famously came to light in the first GOP debate when Megyn Kelly asked Trump about calling women pigs. He hilariously answered that he only views Rosie O’Donnell using that word.
It looks like O’Donnell is also not a fan of Texas Senator[score] Ted Cruz[/score], a conservative Christian constitutionalist who is up for reelection in the U.S. Senate in 2018.
On Tuesday, Rosie O’Donnell announced that she’s contributed the maximum amount (presently $2,700) allowed by law to Cruz’s Democrat opponent, Beto O’Rourke. She encouraged others to join the fight to defeat Cruz in the Republican-dominated state of Texas.
Good luck with that.
Ted Cruz noticed O’Donnell’s announcement, responding on Twitter that, “Out of touch liberals from across the U.S. are trying to turn Texas blue. We won’t let them.”
