In a story published Sunday in the UK Guardian, establishment RINO [score]John McCain[/score], 80, defended Muslim London Mayor Sadiq Khan from criticism by President Donald Trump following the recent Islamic London Bridge attacks and said that when it comes to being a world leader, former Marxist President Barack Obama, is somehow a better world leader:
Senator John McCain, a prominent Republican voice on foreign policy, was visibly irked when asked by the Guardian what message Trump had sent to the United Kingdom, one of America’s most enduring allies.
“What do you think the message is? The message is that America doesn’t want to lead,” McCain said, while adding of the rest of the world: “They are not sure of American leadership, whether it be in Siberia or whether it be in Antarctica.”
Asked if America’s standing on the global stage was better under Barack Obama, McCain, a fervent critic of the previous administration’s foreign policy, responded: “As far as American leadership is concerned, yes.”
Perhaps John McCain’s vision of what “American leadership” looks like should be examined. Maybe if President Trump gave $150 billion to the Iranian mullahs like Obama did he’d think Trump was a better leader. Or perhaps if he’d pitifully bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia, he’d view Trump more positively as a leader.
Much like his “friend” Hillary Clinton, McCain’s foundation received at least $1 million from the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia.
