Former Obama Attorney General Eric Holder, the first sitting Cabinet member to be held in contempt of Congress — for lying about the Fast and Furious scandalous gun-running scheme to Mexican drug gangs that led to the death of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, is considering a run for the presidency in 2020.
“Up to now, I have been more behind-the-scenes,” Holder told Yahoo News in a new interview published Tuesday, describing his plans. “But that’s about to change.”
Three sources told Yahoo News that Eric Holder is considering a challenge to Trump in 2020.
“Now is the time to be more visible,” Holder said. “Now is the time to be heard.”
“I have a certain status as the former attorney general. A certain familiarity as the first African-American attorney general. There’s a justified perception that I’m close to President Obama,” Holder added. “So I want to use whatever skills I have, whatever notoriety I have, to be effective in opposing things that are, at the end of the day, just bad for the country.”
Holder was getting paid $25,000 per month to serve as outside counsel to the heavily-Democratic California state legislature to counter the Trump administration. The legislation he supported Monday would prevent state police from helping to enforce immigration law, and Holder traveled across the country to promote it.
An Eric Holder presidential run will be a controversial one as the hardcore Marxist has a long history of scandal and anti-American activities.
Eric Holder, a Deputy Attorney General under the administration of serial woman abuser Bill Clinton, was the key decision-maker in the granting of Clinton’s infamous pardon of notorious fraudster Marc Rich, who had renounced his American citizenship and fled to Switzerland to avoid prosecution for 51 counts of racketeering, wire fraud, tax fraud, tax evasion, and the illegal oil transactions with Iran.
The only logical justification for the pardon was that Denise Rich, Marc Rich’s former spouse, had donated a whopping $1.5 million to the Clinton’s various political operations.
Not surprisingly, Eric Holder was also instrumental in the pardoning of 16 FALN (Armed Forces of National Liberation) — a violent Puerto Rican Marxist-Leninist terrorist organization in 1999.
On Election Day in 2008, two members of the communist New Black Panther Party stood outside a voting place threatening white voters as they tried to vote — a clear case of voter intimidation caught on camera. The message was clear — vote for Obama or else.
Yet Eric Holder dropped the charges, insinuating that it is impossible for black people to be racist.
Holder’s lies in the Fast and Furious case were so egregious that 17 Democrats broke ranks and voted in favor of the contempt charge.
