Senator Rand Paul for a few years has issued his “airing of grievances,” which is a hat tip to the famous Seinfeld episode that made the fake holiday somewhat famous and they’re typically quite funny.
This year, Sen. Paul took tongue-in-cheek shots at President Donald Trump and fellow conservative Senator Ted Cruz, who came in second place in the 2016 Republican presidential primary. There was some contentiousness between the two senators because Cruz took a lot of Libertarian voters away from Paul and based on the tweets, there might be an itsy-bitsy bit of bad blood, or at least some light-hearted competitiveness lingering between the two.
Here’s the dig Rand Paul took at Ted Cruz for “Festivus,” which was a bit below the belt because it hit on the establishment and leftist media-orchestrated narrative against Cruz that he was “unlikeable,” a false narrative because it turned out that among the 17 GOP presidential candidates he was at least more “likeable” than 16 other Republican candidates, including Rand Paul, among voters.
Where Ted Cruz was disliked was against the D.C. Swamp, and especially the GOP establishment led by RINO surrender caucus leader Mitch McConnell, it turned out.
Nevertheless, Rand Paul took the following jab at Ted Cruz and after Cruz’s reaction, he might regret going down this road:
There are how many million Americans who’ve wanted to force-choke Ted, and he picked on the one who could do It. Brave, he is pic.twitter.com/rL5c65wMoH

I’m KIDDING, Ted. You’re likeable enough

Bad move. Here’s how Ted Cruz responded:
.@RandPaul appreciate the kind Festivus sentiments. Call me, next time you need somebody to mow your lawn…. https://t.co/m0FTQhNsKt

Ouch! As you know, Rand Paul was viciously attacked by a progressive leftist neighbor causing bodily damage and the assault was not a laughing matter. Although, now that Rand Paul is thankfully recovering, the topic is more fair game. It’s also good to know that Ted Cruz is offering to mow Rand Paul’s lawn and take the next blow should the Bernie Bro launch another attack.
And that’s a noble gesture, is it not? I mean, it’s almost like offering to take a bullet for a brother, right?

Lesson: Don’t screw with Ted Cruz on Twitter. As Luke Skywalker recently learned, you fight at your own risk. Oh well, Festivus is a fake holiday anyway and we should all focus on the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
