Obamacare Architect Jonathan Gruber: Senate Bill ‘No Longer an Obamacare Repeal Bill’ [VIDEO]

After eight years of empty promises about repealing Obamacare once in power, the Senate, led by establishment RINO Mitch McConnell, has offered up a bill that does not repeal Obamacare. And you don’t have to take my word for it. You can hear it right out of the horse’s mouth, the main architect of Obamacare, Jonathan Gruber, a leftist economics professor at MIT.

Appearing on CNN Thursday after details of the Senate healthcare bill began to be made public, Gruber expressed relief that McConnell’s bill is “no longer an Obamacare repeal bill” because it keeps in place most of the Obamacare infrastructure, the anti-free market taxes, regulations and subsidies that have annihilated the health insurance market in America, causing both premiums and deductibles to unnecessarily skyrocket.

“If you look at what was criticized [about] Obamacare, it was subsidies, it was the regulations, it was other things,” Gruber told CNN host John Berman. “This law wouldn’t really change those, at least according to the leaked drafts we’re seeing,” he said.

If this is true, and by all accounts it is, it is a fraud to call the Senate healthcare bill a “repeal of Obamacare.”

Also, at least three principled conservatives in the Senate, [score]Ted Cruz[/score], [score]Mike Lee[/score], and [score]Rand Paul[/score], would very likely never vote for a bill that keeps so much of Obamacare in place, meaning that with 52 Republicans, there would have to be Democrats voting for the bill to ensure it’s passage.

Among those regulations being kept is the “pre-existing conditions” absurdity, which is the equivalent of forcing home insurers to write new policies for houses that have already burned down or forcing automobile insurers to write a new policy on a car that had just been totaled. It’s progressive insanity that has infiltrated the Republican Party.

It’s still the federal government running healthcare, folks. It’s just the Republicans managing the tyranny.

The promise of defunding Planned Parenthood is also a deception as the bill reportedly only defunds the baby body parts chop shop for just one year.

Why just one year? Only a RINO could understand that logic. It’s as if McConnell is splitting the baby in half after promising repeatedly to defund the abortion slaughterhouse over the past eight years if voters would only put Republicans in charge.

What a crock!

Insurance is the transfer of a risk that has not yet happened. It is impossible to insure against a risk that has already occurred. That is not insurance — it’s charity or something else. Therefore, the subsidies

And since the bill is basically still failing Obamacare with some nibbling around the edges, any opposition Democrats display would have to be considered phony at this point. Democrats should be appreciative that Mitch McConnell is doing their bidding while they can appeal to their progressive leftist base as opposing everything Republican and everything Trump.

They should send McConnell flowers and a thank you card at the bare minimum.

Jonathan Gruber is famous for admitting that Americans had to be lied to and deceived about Obamacare because they’re “too stupid to understand.”

It shouldn’t come as a big surprise that after eight years of false promised by Democrats, we’re now being lied to by RINOs like Mitch McConnell who continue to represent the Republican Party. Sadly, President Donald Trump is likely to support the Senate bill so that he can get a “win,” as he’s pushed for a bill that’s not so “mean.”

If America wanted to have Obamacare 2.0 or RINOCARE, they could have simply elected Jeb Bush, Lindsey Graham or John Kasich.
