Newest Development in Las Vegas Massacre is Beyond Disturbing

Mysteriously, very little has come out about the Las Vegas massacre and the mass murderer who committed the atrocity. It was now been weeks since the evil took place and unlike other such incidents, the public — for some reason — still does not know the motive of the mass murderer.

This latest development isn’t going to help, other than to fuel conspiracy theories as the public justifiably hungers for answers from authorities:

ABC News reported on Wednesday that a hard drive from the laptop computer of Stephen Paddock is somehow “missing.”

A laptop computer recovered from the Las Vegas hotel room where Stephen Paddock launched the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history was missing its hard drive, depriving investigators of a potential key source of information on why he killed and maimed so many people, ABC News has learned.

Paddock is believed to have removed the hard drive before fatally shooting himself, and the missing device has not yet been recovered, sources told ABC News.

Investigators digging into Paddock’s background also learned he purchased software designed to erase files from a hard drive, but without the hard drive to examine it is impossible to know if he ever used the software, one source said.

Also on Wednesday, one of the brothers of Stephen Paddock, Bruce Paddock, was arrestin on multiple charges of child pornography, the Associated Press reported:

A brother of Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock was arrested in Los Angeles on suspicion of possessing child pornography, authorities said Wednesday.

Bruce Paddock, 59, was arrested on a 20-count felony complaint, a police statement said.

His relationship to Stephen Paddock was confirmed by a law enforcement official briefed on the investigation but not authorized to discuss it publicly.

Bruce Paddock is not a suspect in the Las Vegas shooting.

It should be noted that this is not the other brother, Eric Paddock, who spoke to the media following the massacre. But wow, what a family!

It defies logic to think that these many weeks since the tragedy, we still do not know the motive of Paddock and very little about him.
