In a rare moment of actual journalism that included some scarce economic logic, leftist MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle, in discussing the stock market soaring to new heights on Wednesday with the Dow Jones flirting with 22,000 for the first time, stopped short of giving President Donald Trump any credit, but admitted something that probably earned her a slap on the wrist from the network that’s left of Karl Marx.
Stephanie Ruhle actually admitted that with Obama out of office, businesses are no longer having to worry about the next tyrannical regulation coming down the pike to smother them.
“The markets are very very strong, ” Ruhle observed. “Why is that? Now across the board, we have low volatility. We have strong earnings. The market has been chugging along.”
However, Ruhle would not attribute any of the success to President Trump, calling his performance vs. the market’s a “disconnect.”
“But on the positive, what we do have now is a market that corporate America is not facing the onslaught of regulation that they were in the Obama administration,” Ruhle said. ” When you look at a company like Apple sitting on billions in cash, so many companies were sitting with billions of dollars on their balance sheet because they feared the uncertainty of what regulations should come.”
“The Trump administration may never get to their agenda,” Ruhle clucked. “But the market is confident corporate America is confident that there are no new regulations coming,” she asserted.
You mean that businesses do better when they don’t have to look over their shoulder worrying about what the government is going to do to them next? You mean they don’t have to hoard their cash anymore worrying about the government stealing it from them in the form of new regulations? Shocking!
President Trump, love him or hate him, deserves credit for cutting regulations and stopping the eight-year long stranglehold Obama purposely put on American businesses because of his communist ideology.
The President doesn’t get nearly enough credit for his executive order of January 30, which declared that any new regulation can only be required after two are eliminated. If the Trump administration does nothing else, gutting Obama’s tyrannical regulations is a major accomplishment that has an extremely positive impact on the American economy.
While Ruhle or anyone at MSNBC, a leading member of the Democrat Media Complex propaganda team, will never credit Trump for anything, at least they effectively called out Obama’s no-growth policies. I guess that’s a small baby step for them in the objectivity department.
