Thursday evening, the Republican-controlled House of Representatives voted to fund sex change operations for members of the military and Congressman [score]Louie Gohmert[/score] is appropriately livid that the ridiculous and shameful Obama policy will be continued.
Congresswoman [score]Vicky Hartzler [/score](R-MO) had issued an amendment to the 2018 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that would deny taxpayer funds for transsexual “sex reassignment surgeries,” but the bill was voted down 209 to 214, with more than 20 RINOs (Republicans in name only) joining their progressive Democrat brethren in voting against Rep. Hartzler’s amendment.
How is this any different than the garbage seen from an Obama presidency with a Democrat-controlled Congress? It’s not and it’s another indication that the Republican Party isn’t worth a bucket of spit (for additional confirmation, see phony Obamacare “repeal” that doesn’t actually repeal Obamacare).

Congressman Gohmert announced the “really bad news” to Lou Dobbs on the Fox Business Network on Thursday, absolutely livid that taxpayers are being forced to fund such nonsense. Meanwhile, we learn that monthly federal government spending topped $400 BILLION for the first time in American history, a level of spending never before reached even in the Obama years. But they have money to pay for sex change operations?
How many will join the military just so they can get the free surgery? Rep. Gohmert pointed out that military leaders have told him that a soldier is out of commission for two years when they elect the procedure. How is that helping our military defend the United States exactly?
This is nothing more than Cultural Marxism infiltrating our military in order to destroy it and therefore, destroy America. You can’t have people in the military — biology deniers — so mentally confused that they deny the God-given gender they were born with.
Dobbs tries to cut Gohmert off several times, either because a break was forthcoming or because this is not exactly draining the swamp. There’s a whole lot of “swamp” to be drained and much of it, unfortunately, is in the Republican Party.
