Leftist Seattle Politician Wants Human Excrement Left On Sidewalks; You Won’t Believe Why

KIng County Councilman Larry Gossett, "Tent City" outside King County Courthouse. Gossett believes that cleaning up human excrement is somehow racist.

The People’s Republic of Seattle, located in King County, Washington, has a significant problem — despite its communist utopian ideals — in that vagrants keep pissing and pooping around the King County Courthouse, an embarrassment to the city that’s difficult to hide because the stench is disgustingly gross and illustrates the failed policies that attract and even promote this kind of animalistic behavior.

Besides the putrid stench of progressivism that surrounds the Courthouse, the area has become so unsafe that several jurors and a half dozen employees have been attacked outside the building, leading to jurors being afraid to go to the Courthouse.

I’ve never seen it this bad,” King County Superior Court Judge Jim Rogers said on Tuesday morning in a presentation to the King County Council’s committee on government accountability and oversight, according to The Seattle Times.

Another judge, Laura Inveen, and Rogers asked the county to try to get rid of the reek of urine and excrement by power-washing the surrounding sidewalks daily. At a bare minimum, it would at least appear that someone is paying attention to the situation even though they admitted it wouldn’t address the root cause of growing homelessness in the area.

However, Councilmember Larry Gossett thought cleaning up the urine and excrement from the area was somehow racially insensitive.

No really!

Gossett said he didn’t like the idea of power-washing the sidewalks because it brought back images of the use of hoses against civil rights activists, The Times reported.

Seriously? Cleaning up poop is racist? So just leave it there? What is WRONG with these people?
