Donald Trump Goes OFF on Twitter and Obama is his Target

If you ever want to know what’s on the mind of President Trump, then all you need to do is check his Twitter feed. It’s his favorite avenue to rant and rave, and he did just that on Monday morning.

In case you haven’t heard (yes, I’m being facetious) there is an ongoing investigation to determine whether there was any collusion to influence the election between the Trump campaign and Russia. Let’s note that, despite what the mainstream media would have you believe, Donald Trump himself, according to former FBI director Comey, was never under investigation.

After months of investigations, there still is no evidence of collusion at all. So, it’s not shocking that Democrats, who have a tendency to project things that they are guilty of on others, have thrown the possibility of “obstruction of justice” related to the firing of Comey into the mix in their continued efforts to discredit the presidency of Donald Trump.

While there is no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia and even liberal constitutional professors like Jonathan Turley and Alan Dershowitz have said there is no evidence of obstruction, what we do know is that then-president Barack Obama was told about Russia’s “hacking campaign” during prior to the 2016 presidential election and did absolutely nothing in response. Apparently, Obama and his team “were concerned any pre-election response could trigger escalation from Putin or be interpreted as motivated on behalf of Clinton.”

Barack Obama received an “intelligence bombshell” from the CIA last August warning him that Russian president Vladimir Putin was directing a hacking campaign to tip the presidential election in Donald Trump’s favor, the Washington Post reported on Friday.

Based on interviews with more than three dozen current and former senior US officials, the Post’s investigation is likely to renew questions about how Putin’s sneak attack on US democracy was able to happen on Obama’s watch. “By the way,in body link”Trump tweeted on Thursday, “if Russia was working so hard on the 2016 election, it all took place during the Obama admin. Why didn’t they stop them?”

This revelation prompted the following tweetstorm from Trump on Monday morning.

Some on the left want to claim that Obama did do something by ousting Russian diplomats and increasing sanctions. But, let’s not forget, that happened in late December, nearly two months after the election. A month earlier, though he knew of Russia’s actions, he adamantly stated that no one hacked the election. He also exclaimed that “the will of the people was reflected in the election results.”

So, which is it Obama? What were you hiding then and what are you hiding now?

Will CNN and MSNBC break from their “Trump/Russia” obsession to ask why Obama and Obama officials did absolutely nothing to attempt to stop shenanigans by Russia even though they were informed in August? That’s a full three months prior to the election. Did Obama not consider it as a “threat to our democracy” until after Hillary Clinton lost?

Given what Obama knew then and what we know now, what do you think? Why did Obama sit on his hands rather than do something to stop the Russians?

Makes you wonder.
