Congressman Paul Gosar on FBI Abuse Memo: Will Officially Recommend ‘Criminal Prosecution Against These Traitors to Our Nation’

After the FBI abuse memo detailing political corruption in favor of Hillary Clinton and against Donald Trump was released to the public on Friday, conservative Congressman Paul Gosar (AZ-04) issued a powerful and bold public statement, accusing certain Obama deep state FBI operatives of “treason.”

Congressman Gosar said that he would be formally recommending to Attorney General Jeff Sessions that treason charges be levied against James Comey, Sally Yates, Andrew McCabe and Rod Rosenstein.

Rep. Gosar also took a shot at outgoing RINO Senator Jeff Flake, who he says “again cast his lot with the Democrats and those that attack true patriots.”

“The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence memorandum on the FBI abuse of FISA warrants and targeting a sitting President is not just evidence of incompetence but clear and convincing evidence of treason.

The FBI knowingly took false information from the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign and then used it to smear Donald Trump in order to hurt his campaign.

This is third world politics where the official government agencies are used as campaign attack dogs.

The full-throated adoption of this illegal misconduct and abuse of FISA by James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Sally Yates and Rod Rosenstein is not just criminal but constitutes treason. I will be leading a letter to the Attorney General seeking criminal prosecution against these traitors to our nation.

Finally. Let me say this to those members of Congress who fought so hard to keep the truth from the American public. Your efforts to protect a corrupt organization are duly noted. I am not surprised Sen. Flake has again cast his lot with the Democrats and those that attack true patriots. Good riddance.”

Among the revelations documented in the explosive FBI Abuse Memo, are these key takeaways, as reported by the Washington Examiner:

⦁ The FBI relied heavily on Democratic Party dossier to obtain three surveillance warrants before the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court. The FBI did not tell the court the information came from a Democratic Party-financed opposition research. FBI knew source.

⦁ In one application to judges, FBI cited two sources, the dossier and a story by Yahoo News. But the Yahoo story was based on the dossier. Not really two sources.

⦁ Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe said warrants on Trump volunteer Carter Page could not have been obtained without dossier.

⦁ Dossier writer Christopher Steele lied to FBI when he said he did not speak with media. He has said in libel case that he spoke to reporters repeatedly.

⦁ FBI fired Mr. Steele. He then continued to funnel information to the agency through former associate deputy attorney general Bruce Ohr. Bruce Ohr’s wife worked for Fusion GPS, the opposition research that paid Mr. Steele. She passed Fusion research to the FBI, which never disclosed source to FISA court.

⦁ Mr. Steele said he wanted to destroy Trump’s presidency with a dossier that remains discredited.

⦁ Former FBI director James Comey signed three surveillance warrants on Trump campaign aid Carter Page at the same time he told President-elect Trump that the dossier was “salacious and unverified.”

Democrats and the media (same difference) had hair-on-fire responses to the damning report. Here’s an example by CNN Democrat operative Wolf Blitzer, who masquerades as a journalist on the notorious fake news network.

In this clip, Blitzer is called out for wanting to talk about everything except the contents of the FISA abuse memo and has a near meltdown, acting as a defense attorney for the Democrats and the Deep State. But then again, this is hardly new for Wolf.
