Democrat Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s top tech person, a Pakistani was just arrested trying to flee the country after wiring $300,000 to Pakistan and was frantically trying to liquidate assets on the day of his arrest.
The congressional aide, Imran Awan, was part of a family of Pakistanis paid millions by Democrats, wildly overpaying them for their “services” and no one in the so-called mainstream media is the least bit curious to ask why.
And this is on top of the FBI recently seizing SMASHED computer hard drives from Awan’s home. What was on those drives and why were they crushed and why was Imran Awan kept on the payroll by[score] Debbie Wasserman Schultz[/score] for so long even after the scandal was revealed?
These questions and more deserve to be answered according to Congressman [score]Ron DeSantis[/score] in a Monday Fox & Friends interview:
“I think this is really curious as to why this individual would have been on the payroll…it wasn’t just that was busted in February, he had family members, there were a couple of friends — all these guys — although they weren’t on the face — they made over $4 million from Democratic members of the House of Representatives since 2009.
I think it’s questionable what they were doing during that time — we’d have to investigate that — and of course, they had access to intelligence committee and House Foreign Affairs Committee members’ personal email and IT accounts.
There’s some very sensitive information on there. This could be a significant security breach.”
After Fox and Friends co-host Steve Doocy pointed out that Imran Awan was frantically trying to liquidate real estate holdings in the U.S. on the day of his arrest and that it would be nice if Wasserman Schultz came forward to answer questions, Rep. DeSantis said that is crucial because there’s “going to obviously be financial crimes here that will be prosecuted criminally.”
“I think that’s just window dressing,” Congressman DeSantis stated. “What was he doing with this money? He’s got connections to a Hezbollah-linked character in Iraq, he’s sending money to Pakistan. I think there’s going to be more than just the financial crimes but in the House of Representatives, we have to investigate how our systems may have been compromised.”
The Daily Caller reported that the Democrat congressional aides, including Imran Awan and his four relatives who were employed as information technology (IT) aides by dozens of House Democrats, owed $100,000 to an Iraqi politician who is wanted by U.S. authorities and has been linked to Hezbollah, an Iranian-backed terrorist organization.
“That will require putting people in the chair,” DeSantis declared, referring to testifying under oath in the witness chair.
