Just like clockwork, after President Donald Trump predicted that anti-history progressive leftists wouldn’t be satisfied with the tearing down of statues of Confederate generals like Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson, that they would soon go after America’s first President George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, the author of the Declaration of Independence, CNN leftist Angela Rye made his words quickly ring prophetic.
“To me, I don’t care if it’s a George Washington statue or Thomas Jefferson, they all need to come down,” Angela Rye, a former executive director of the racialist Congressional Black Caucus, said, as part of a lengthy and hateful anti-American rant that went unchallenged by CNN host Kate Bolduan.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: “You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of, to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name.”
REPORTER: “George Washington and Robert E. Lee are not the same.”
TRUMP: “Well know, George Washington was a slave owner. Was George Washington a slave owner? So will George Washington now lose his status? Are we going to take down…

REPORTER: “I do love Thomas Jefferson.”
TRUMP: “Okay, good. Are we going to take down the statue? Because he was a major slave owner. Now, are we going to take down his statue?
