Democrat California Governor Jerry Brown, given the nickname “Governor Moonbeam” for his being so far left that he’s out of touch with anything on the planet earth, insulted the tens of millions of American citizens who chose to vote for President Donald Trump over corrupt and untrustworthy Democrat Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election on Monday.
Speaking of Hillary Clinton, Jerry Brown’s comments were very similar to Hillary’s now infamous “basket of deplorables” comment in reference to Trump supporters during the general election — remarks that even many in the Democrat Media Complex said hurt her chances of peeling away any Trump voters.
As Politico reported, the elitist, condescending Jerry Brown on Monday referred to Trump supporters as cave-dwellers while speaking at a climate scam event:
“They’re both kind of very similar,” Brown said at a climate change event in New York. “You should check out the derivation of ‘Trump-ite’ and ‘troglodyte,’ because they both refer to people who dwell in deep, dark caves.”
Brown, the Democratic governor of the nation’s most populous state, has been rushing to recruit other state and local governments to sign onto their own nonbinding climate agreements in defiance of Trump. At an event coinciding with the United Nations meeting in New York, Brown said Trump’s election has made it easier to promote climate-related policies, with the rise of a “real adversary that is not believable, is not credible.”
“President Trump is the null hypothesis, which he’s proven,” Brown said. “Everything he’s doing is … stupid and dangerous and silly. I mean, come on, really, calling the North Korean dictator ‘Rocket Man’? … He is accelerating the reversal through his own absurdity.”
Further evidence that the party of coastal elites and sexual perverts have learned nothing from the 2016 election — that insulting voters who you are trying to win over doesn’t work. But in progressive-leftist California — or in New York where Brown was speaking — Democrat leaders can say whatever they want without any price to pay electorally. The left coasts, whether east or west, have become “safe spaces” — just look at the leftist loons who get elected in California, for example. [score]Maxine Waters[/score] comes to mind. So does [score]Elizabeth Warren[/score] and [score]Bernie Sanders[/score].
However, the rest of the country is listening and will no doubt consider the insults at the voting box in 2018.
