What should we expect from someone who spent their honeymoon in the U.S.S.R.
John Nichols from the far-left publication The Nation, tweeted that the United States, a beacon of freedom for the world, could learn a thing or two from the way the Iranians, one of the largest state sponsors of terror in the world, held their elections.
His tweet offered praise of Iran with a claim that the “moderate”candidate succeeded and praising their 70% voter participation rate.
Voter turnout in Iran was 70%.
High participation among the young. The worldly & moderate candidate prevailed with ease.
Lesson for the US!— John Nichols (@NicholsUprising) May 20, 2017
What did Jane Sanders, who ran Burlington College into the ground due to her financial mismanagement and incurring of massive debt and is the wife of 2016 Democrat presidential candidate and avowed Socialist (really a Marxist) Bernie Sanders, say about this tweet? Well, she didn’t correct Nichols on the human rights atrocities of Iran. No, that’s not what she chose to do in that moment. Instead, she, too, praised the Iranian regime and claimed that they “show the world how it’s done.)
I kid you not.
Iranians show the world how it's done. https://t.co/f3gQyhL4Va

Of course, she got blasted on Twitter, and rightfully so.
Yes, especially the religious council that controls ballot access and bans female candidates. We should *totally* learn from that. /s

Is this a parody account?

By having fundamentalist clerics decide who can run, eliminating all female candidates? Oh, is THAT how it's done?
