Sharp-tongued Trump loyalist Ann Coulter, author of the book written during the 2016 presidential campaign entitled, “In Trump We Trust,” expressed outrage on social media following the firing of White House chief strategist Steve Bannon on Friday, characterizing the move as caving into media pressure:
STEVE BANNON OUT! Media is the most powerful branch of government.

Who will media decide @realDonaldTrump has to fire next?

Coulter also took a jab at the President, who ran as an anti-establishment “outsider,” for hiring so many former Goldman Sachs executives within his administration, predicting that Bannon will be replaced with another establishment type. Instead, Coulter recommended the abrasive Corey Lewandowski to replace Bannon, the former head of Breitbart News:
.@realDonaldTrump needs to hire @CLewandowski_ immediately, so there's SOMEONE in the White House who isn't from Goldman Sachs.

Coulter further predicted that if President Trump thought he could garner favor with the media by firing Bannon, he is badly mistaken:
SEE, @realDonaldTrump? NOW THEY LOVE YOU, MR. PRESIDENT! https://t.co/1hLCVwCpQp

Instead of firing Bannon, Coulter opined that Trump should have fired “10 more like him.”
If @realDonaldTrump didn't like the media giving Steve Bannon all credit, instead of firing him, he should've hired 10 more like him.
