Whoopi Goldberg: Democrats Didn’t Lose in Georgia, It’s ‘Slow Progress’ [VIDEO]

The excuses, spin, and the wailing and gnashing of teeth is in overdrive following Democrat Jon Ossoff’s stunning loss to Republican Karen Handel in the Georgia special election on Tuesday, a race Handel easily outperformed the polls, winning by a comfortable margin despite a record outside money flowing into Ossoff’s coffers by California liberals.

On “The View” Wednesday morning, progressive leftist Whoopi Goldberg spun the loss as not a loss at all. Instead, Goldberg spun the defeat as making what she called “slow progress.”

“I’m saying, I’m not looking at this as a loss. I’m looking at it as slow progress,” Whoopi told “The View” panel.

Participation trophies, anyone?
